Mvix powers interactive digital signage at Boston nursing home

The Bear Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a nursing care facility in the Boston metro region, has partnered with Mvix and Karen Ancas Design to deploy an interactive display. The display offers maps, directions, directories and information on events, according to a press release.

The nursing home needed a solution that could perform some basic receptionist duties, so Mvix provided its digital signage software platform, which offered interactive features and remote content management, according to the release.

Visitors can click on rooms on the display to get in-depth directions and can also look at activity calendars, photos and animated announcements.

"The touch-screen display brings modernity to an otherwise older-looking building and it makes people feel good about coming in," said Jessie Maiuri of Bear Hill. "They bring a freshness to our lobby and is a perfect illustration of how digital signage can augment reception spaces."
