Monumental Sports & Entertainment taps LG Electronics as Capital One Arena display partner

Monumental Sports & Entertainment has named LG Electronics USA the official TV, commercial display and appliance partner of the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C.

The longtime partnership will bring LG's Direct View LED display technology throughout the transformed venue, according to a press release.

Under the multi-year partnership, LG will power the arena's display experiences, including new exterior LED displays, interior LED and television displays throughout the venue, digital displays across the arena's new business and conference center and the new "Visibowl" digital display.

The LG-powered Visibowl will reimagine how fans experience live events by replacing traditional concourse walls with more than 500 feet of immersive digital displays, allowing fans to stay connected to the action as they move throughout the arena.

"The New Capital One Arena is undergoing the most significant transformation in its history, with technology playing a central role in redefining the fan experience," Jim Van Stone, MSE president of business operations and chief commercial officer, said in the release. "LG's industry-leading innovation and commitment to delivering exceptional visual experiences make them an ideal partner as we build a venue that sets a new standard for sports and entertainment in our nation's capital."

The MSE partnership with LG Electronics includes the "LG Collective" — a premium seating destination for Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals games and select Capital One Arena events debuting at the start of the 2026–27 season.

ANC, a provider of venue technology integration, will oversee the integration, implementation and ongoing service of the new display systems throughout the arena.
