MobileFuse buys Enhance, knocking down SDK barriers for clients

July 9, 2021

MobileFuse, a DOOH, CTV and app advertising platform serving retail, restaurants, tourism and other industries, has acquired Enhance Inc., a business that removes software development kit barriers between third-party services and developers, according to a company press release.

MobileFuse made the move to expand the company's market reach and portfolio, which includes clients such as Red Lobster, The Home Depot, Wind Creek Casino and Hotel and TD Bank . Enhance founder Chris Hughes and his engineering team will join the company.

"Currently, app developers and publishers are forced to decide between implementing many advertising SDKs or settling for a single SDK with less overhead and ultimately reduced results. With Enhance by MobileFuse, we're effectively eliminating that industry-wide problem," Ken Harlan, founder and CEO of MobileFuse, said in the release. "This acquisition uniquely positions us to unlock new revenue and optimization opportunities for our publishers in an agnostic way, and demonstrates our commitment to providing critical tools that help move their respective businesses forward."

MobileFuse is now integrated in over 50,000 apps. Publishers may use most in-app ad networks without manually implementing each SDK.

"I'm really proud Enhance is joining the MobileFuse family, and to know our respective companies share core values in wanting to deliver solutions that solve industry problems," Chris Hughes, president of Enhance and director at MobileFuse, said in the release. "With MobileFuse, we have more resources to focus on improving the Enhance by MobileFuse product, drive innovation and provide new levels of customer support."

Founded in 2009, MobileFuse, headquartered in New York City, has offices throughout the U.S.
