Meridian, a kiosk and interactive digital signage provider, has launched applications for its second annual high school merit scholarship for North Carolina students. Graduating high school seniors can submit an essay online to one of five prompts about self service solutions for a chance to win the $1,000 scholarship, according to a press release.
Applicants must be grading in spring of 2020, have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA and be planning to attend a North Carolina college or university. The prompts include how self-service has made their lives easier, where they see the technology going in the future, how they're improving customer experience, how they've affected manufacturing or how they would personally change them.
Students have from now until April 10 to submit their applications.
