He received the global recognition as the lead inventor of eTAG (Encompass Tag & Assessment Generator), which simplifies the asset tagging process for businesses of all sizes, according to a press release.

Coupled with his leadership in technical services and commitment to community service, Matt exemplifies innovation that is practical, scalable, and commercially impactful."

"Matt is a true innovator as well as an inspiring leader for us here at Toshiba," Toshiba America Business Solutions President and Chief Executive Officer Larry White said in the release. "By developing our eTAG software, he has singlehandedly streamlined the printer registration process for our service team and clients."

The Stevie Awards receive more than 12,000 nominations each year from organizations in more than 70 nations.
