Matrox inks video wall tech distribution deal in Spain

Matrox Graphics Inc. today announced a distribution agreement that adds Matrox Mura video wall controller boards, Matrox Avio KVM extenders, Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go multimonitor adapters and Matrox Maevex video over IP encoders/decoders to the Crambo Visuales product lineup in Spain.

Value-added wholesaler Crambo Visuales is a supplier of audiovisual integration and digital signage solutions for professional applications in Spain. As a service to the industry, the company organizes and manages Spain's Digital Signage Symposium and the DS Academy.

"Matrox Graphics is a key strategic partner in bringing yet more innovative, quality products to AV professionals in Spain," César García Manchado, business manager, Crambo Visuales, said in the announcement. "The Matrox line is a natural complement to our current product offerings including our large-format displays."

Matrox Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards let users configure high performance video walls with off-the-shelf components and control them with user-friendly software. Matrox Avio F125 KVM extenders separate dual-HD video, keyboard, mouse, stereo analog audio and USB 2.0 devices from a workstation by up to 2.5 miles over a single fiber-optic cable. DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go external multimonitor adapters connect up to two and three additional monitors, respectively, to Mac and PC notebooks and workstations. Matrox Maevex 5100 Series video over IP encoders and decoders extend Full HD 1080p60 video over standard IP networks, with minimal bandwidth consumption, at a fraction of the cost of competing products.
