The recent webinar by NEC Display Solutions and Digital Signage Today drew approximately 125 participants to hear digital screen media strategist Lyle Bunn and NEC's Graeme Spicer and Richard Ventura talk about ways to garner additional revenue streams from on-campus digital signage networks at higher-education facilities.
Bunn and Spicer took higher-level looks at the strategies and benefits on campus signage networks, while Ventura took participants, virtually, through examples of higher-education digital signage deployments. While the revenue from campus digital signage networks might not make a significant dent in the university's endowment, Spicer said, it could offset the capital expenses of deploying a network that could have numerous benefits for colleges and universities, from cross-campus emergency notifications to compliance with nutrition labeling laws in on-campus dining facilities.
