Magnetic 3D, a provider of autostereoscopic, "glasses-free" 3D solutions, today announced the official launch of glasses-free 3D super-narrow bezel monitors for 3D video wall applications, which also includes the release of the company's next-generation 3D lens technology, Empreza.

"It has always been said that bigger is better in glasses-free 3D," said Tom Zerega, CEO and founder of Magnetic 3D, in the announcement. "As such, we are very excited to announce our latest development and the next wave of Glasses-Free 3D Solutions in our portfolio, which can accommodate configurations of up to sixteen 3D Displays. With this release we are proud to say that large-format, professional-grade glasses-free 3D has finally arrived."

Magnetic 3D Video Walls are made possible through the release of the company's all new super-narrow bezel 46-inch LCD product line that has been purpose-built from the ground up for glasses-free 3D. The new monitors feature the latest in direct-LED backlit LCD technology, a new state-of-the-art 3D lens design, and a custom bezel of just 5.9mm to maximize the 3D experience, the company said.

"Size is not the only thing that matters in Glasses-Free 3D," said John Bracciante, VP of channel sales for Magnetic 3D, in the announcement. "Customers have become accustomed to Magnetic 3D's commitment to quality, and the new video wall monitors are a prime example of our craftsmanship. While envisioning this product line, we seized the opportunity to forge ahead with a revolutionary new lens called Empreza, resulting in the best glasses-free 3D experience we've produced to date."

As a result of the company's R&D efforts, the Empreza product line features higher contrast ratio, improved 3D viewing zones and increased brightness and sharpness, all of which are the result of product enhancements to the company's Allura lens and product line.

"In order to produce a truly professional autostereoscopic video wall solution, we first carefully envisioned the type of experience we wanted to create," said Michael Dorin, COO of Magnetic 3D, in the announcement. "This led us to completely redesign the display and optics; re-engineer the playback hardware and software needed to support multiview 3D in unprecedented resolution (up to 8K); and even develop new methods and custom tools for creating glasses-free 3D content for video walls."

In connection with the launch of the Empreza 3D Video Wall product line, the company said it is offering ready-to-install, bundled solutions ranging from one-by-three to four-by-four configurations.

As part of the company's marketing commitment to 3D video wall deployments, Magnetic 3D is offering special price consideration on initial or flagship installations in each country, providing extra training, special creative tools, support, case studies and PR, as well as its content development capabilities to ensure the successful execution of each project, according to the announcement. Early adopters and authorized dealers may even apply for territory exclusivity for the remainder of 2015 with their purchase.
