Logic Supply collaborates with Amazon Web Services on machine learning IoT

Logic Supply is collaborating with Amazon Web Services to allow its customers to pre-install AWS Greengrass with machine learning on certain hardware platforms. Customers can use this service to run local compute, messaging and data caching for connected internet of things devices.

AWS GreenGrass also enables connected devices to run AWS Lambda functions, as well as sync of device data and communicate with other devices, even while not connected to the Internet, according to a press release. The overall goal of this collaboration is to make IoT development quicker and easier.

"The AWS Partner Network plays a key role in achieving our mission to empower builders," Dirk Didascalou, vice president, Internet of Things, Amazon Web Services, Inc., said in the release. "We're excited that Logic Supply will be among the first of our APN Partners to offer hardware that comes pre-installed with AWS Greengrass with Machine Learning Inference, as Edge Computing continues to show incredible application potential across the IoT landscape."
