Kia integrates Zytronic touch sensors into Istanbul location

Kia is partnering with Zytronic and Nerotouch to deploy custom multitouch tables at Kia's flagship dealership in Istanbul, Turkey.

The dealership is using Nerotouch's Clivo 43-inch diagonal touch tables, with Zytronic's Zybrid 40-point multi-touch projected capacitive touch sensors, according to a press release.

Nerotouch provided the multi-touch software alongside Zytronic's ZXY200 multi-touch controllers for the tables. The table is lightweight and features 42-inch Zybrid touch sensors and 4-millimeter anti-glare etched glass. Dealership employees can pick up and flip content from the table to a 2 by 2 video wall, according to the release.

"Kia sought a customer experience beyond that offered in other dealerships. Using Zytronic's touch technology we created custom designed multi-touch tables connected to a four-screen video wall," Asli Kubilay, managing partner, Nerotouch, said in the release. "Content from a touch table can be flipped onto the nearby video wall, providing a fun and dynamic approach for customers and staff to view information and engage with the brand. The tables are very user-friendly so customers can operate them unaided if they prefer."
