Keywest Technology chooses Userful as OEM partner for video wall hardware

Keywest Techology recently showcased the technology of its OEM partner Userful at Digital Signage Expo. The company showcased Userful's video wall solution, which enables customers to control up to 100 displays in a video wall with a single Breeze media player, according to a press release.

Userful offers video walls in landscape, portrait or other oblique angles. Userful provided Keywest with an API interface to aid integration with Keywest's cloud-based content management software for Breeze Digital Signage.

Keywest tested Userful's technology by deploying nine 49-inch zero-bezel Phillips displays at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri. The banner video wall was designed to allow the arena to extend it around to the other side of the stand without other modifications.

"What I like most about Userful is its flexibility, and how it can adapt to different projects' requirements," Koytt Nichols, president and director of research and development, Keywest, said in the release. "With Userful, we can install it once, and then simply add as many displays as we need to increase the size of the video wall. It just provides a lot of flexibility and makes it very easy for the crew to work with."
