K4Connect partners with UMC to deploy digital signage, smart homes for senior living

K4Connect recently partnered with United Methodist Communities to deliver its connected-life senior living solution K4Community to UMC's campuses throughout New Jersey. K4Community provides digital signage, smart lighting and thermostats and Amazon Alexa integration, according to a press release.

The solution's digital signage component allows communities to create and manage content as well as sharing news and updates directly to seniors.

"I think the use of technology in our lives is inevitable and beneficial," Anne Bozek, a resident of United Methodist Communities, said in the release. "It helps me connect with my children and grandchildren who live far away."
