The PRN brand is back, now under the Stratacache umbrella, according to an announcement from digital signage and shopper activation technology provider Stratacache.

Most recently known as Iz-On Media, the company "has reclaimed the PRN brand to represent its deep focus and roots in retail," according to the announcement. Stratacache announced the acquisition of Iz-On in July.

According to the announcement, PRN works with "the largest brands and retailers in the world" to provide in-store shopper video, mobile and content marketing solutions designed to activate shoppers along the path to purchase through to the point of sale.

"The acquisition of PRN enables us to build out our suite of shopper marketing solutions," Stratacache founder and CEO Chris Riegel said in the announcement. "PRN brings to Stratacache a 23-year track record of creating compelling in-store content experiences, and bringing brands to the table through innovative approaches to monetization. With their deep understanding of the shopper mindset, the PRN team knows how to help brands and retailers win multiple moments of truth."

Iz-On previously had been known as PRN, or Premier Retail Networks,  before changing its name to Iz-On in 2012.

PRN's in-store communication platforms are designed to help retailers amplify their shopper marketing initiatives and brands deliver targeted customized messaging, the announcement said. With Stratacache as its parent company, PRN now features expanded technology capabilities to deliver all-in-one shopper engagement solutions and support key omnichannel strategies for retailers and brands alike, the company said.

"Joining Stratacache is the logical next step in PRN's evolution. We're now able to combine our deep expertise in shopper engagement solutions with the core technology of Stratacache," PRN CEO Kevin Carbone said. "Our collaboration is already providing the in-store digital innovation that brands and retailers require to exceed the expectations of the 21st-century consumer."
