Updated XD and HD players, 4K players and featured LS line of low-cost players to be exhibited for first time.
December 29, 2014
Alongside its 4K media player, BrightSign LLC will be exhibiting the next generation of its XD and HD solid-state digital signage players, and the new low-cost LS model for the first time at ISE 2015 in Amsterdam, the company announced recently.
Centerpiece of the BrightSign presence at the event will be the flagship line: BrightSign's three new 4K models, which are designed as solutions for systems integrators building installations demanding unsurpassed performance. Alongside, the industry will have its first opportunity to view the updated range of XD and HD solid-state players, offering greatly increased performance while maintaining existing price points. The new LS product line, a pair of affordable, full-featured devices for commercial audio and price-sensitive digital signage applications, is also being shown for the first time.
BrightSign's portfolio of digital signage media players now consists of 10 players across four product lines. The three BrightSign 4K models are designed for installations that call for the latest technological advances up to and including 4K playback of H.265 encoded content at 60p.
All three of BrightSign's XD models have been updated with an even faster graphics and HTML5 engine and power over ethernet. The BrightSign HD family now consists of two models, and has been updated with a new feature set including HTML5, 1080p60 decode and the added convenience of remote viewing capabilities. All of these new capabilities are delivered at the same price points of their predecessors. BrightSign's new LS series players, starting at just $200, are intended to be ideal for customers requiring an affordable solution but needing a purpose-built sign player with greater reliability, flexibility and performance than the consumer devices sometimes chosen in price-sensitive installations.
To help customers quickly determine the most appropriate player for their particular application, BrightSign also now offers a free, Web-based Product Selector Tool, the company said. Integrated Systems Europe is scheduled for Feb. 10-12 in Amsterdam.
BrightSign is the global market leader in digital signage media players, offering the most reliable, secure and sophisticated solid-state media players on the market today.
