Is in-store TV an ad overload?

Promo Magazine: Networks like BordersTV and eckoTV have been cropping up in retail as marketers experiment with in-store video networks. About 630,000 TV screens are now housed in 97,000 U.S. retail stores, estimates PowerPact, a consumer marketing agency. That number is projected to grow by 20 percent a year. But critics say in-store TV is advertising overload.
