Intersection wins DOOH contract with Port Authority of New York, New Jersey

November 12, 2020

Intersection has won a 10-year contract with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to manage all static and digital advertising on stations, platforms and in train cars across the Port Authority Trans-Hudson System. With this agreement, Intersection will make a digital signage network for PATH, upgrade existing digital signage and install more than 100 displays and video walls, according to a press release.

Intersection will use its platform IxNConnect to allow PATH to manage all content and deliver critical information such as service updates, emergency messages and transit campaigns. It can also deliver messages by line, station or individual displays.

"We are thrilled to be a part of PATH's ambitious efforts to transform the transportation experience across New York and New Jersey," Scott Goldsmith, president of cities and transit at Intersection, said in the release. "Our partnership with PATH will upgrade digital signage, expand customer communications and connect advertisers to millions of riders, driving revenue that can be reinvested in the transit system."
