Intelligent dashboards offer real-time data

ConnectedSign, a digital signage company, is launching a series of intelligent dashboards to gather data from digital signage and update content in real-time, according to a press release.

The dashboards are designed to use various data sources such as PowerPoint and spreadsheets to help craft changes to dashboard displays. When a certain criteria is reached, the dashboard can also visually alert employees by changing colors, layouts or moving the information to the top of the screen, according to a release.

The dashboards can connect to any displays and provide real-time information such as weather updates or crawling banners.

The dashboards are designed to run on a variety of simple devices such as small PCs or Android-powered devices.
