The new FastTrack digital signage software, player and screen bundle from signagelive – designed to speed deployments and cut typical costs in half – has its North American debut for AV resellers at next week's huge InfoComm systems integrator trade show in Orlando, Florida, according to an announcement from signagelive.
The FastTrack bundle combines signagelive's Web-based digital signage software with a 42-inch Philips commercial LCD panel and a powerful, small form-factor AOpen PC that fits in a slot designed into the rear of a Philips "Smart Insert" monitor.
"We call this our FastTrack bundle because it makes the deployment of digital signage networks, no matter the scale, easy to specify, affordable and simple to roll out," signagelive CEO Jason Cremins said in the announcement. "It's particularly well suited to the AV systems integrators we'll be seeing in Orlando because we've removed all the guess-work for them, and even put three years of warranty, support and software updates into a single price. It will be very easy for them to sell on to their customers."
Cremins said in the announcement that the bundle's overall cost is roughly 50 percent that of other offers on the market that are promoted as simple, turnkey packages.
"We first started talking about FastTrack at ScreenMedia Expo in London last month, and the response was phenomenal," said Cremins, whose company is based in southern England, "We had a very busy show and are prepared for more of the same in Orlando. We've only been aggressively marketing in North America in the past year, and we see this show as an opportunity to build up our roster of resellers in the United States, Canada and beyond."
The signagelive platform supports language packs — meaning AV systems integrators and resellers can adapt and deliver a complete software user experience in any language. "We know Latin America and South America are very strong markets now for digital signage projects, and we hope to show how we can easily support projects that need to be managed in Spanish and Portuguese," Cremins said in the announcement.
The FastTrack bundle will be demonstrated at InfoComm booth #4688 at the show, hosted this year at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
The bundle is the centerpiece of a diverse booth planned for InfoComm. The stand has a large live demo area intended to show signagelive's open-architecture solution for scheduling and managing ad-based, retail and private communications networks of any scale.
