Industrial signage company Videotel celebrates 37 years in business

The San Diego-based digital signage company Videotel is celebrating its 37^th anniversary. Videotel inked a new partnership, gained a new federal contract and won an award this year for Best Interactive Solution at the DSE 2016 trade show, according to a press release.

The company partnered with Turtle Beach Company this year to provide its Hypersound directional speakers to its interactive solutions. Videotel also won a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration to allow government agencies to deploy Videotel's products.

Videotel also launched new products such as the VP71XD media player and the HD2700D industrial DVD player.

"We've had quite a year to say the least," Lisa Schneider, vice president of sales and marketing at Videotel, said in the release. "It is certainly punctuated by our Best Interactive Solution Award at the DSE 2016 trade show. We couldn't be more pleased."
