India's Jaipur War Museum at Amar Jawan Joyoti Jaipur recently teamed up with technology integrator USAM and AV distributor Vinshek to deploy videowalls, displays and more. The museum selected an ELAN-based control system to manage the displays, according to a press release.
USAM and Vinsheck built the control system with one ELAN gSC10 controller and one ELAN gSC2 controller. The museum can access the system through touch panels, remotes and a mobile app.
The museum also teamed up with another integrator to install a 3D mapping projector, 2 x 2 panel video wall and a 3D hologram projector. The museum used these to recreate battle scenes and images of the Indian army throughout history.
"The AV that we installed really breathes life into static figures and images. The system operates easily and automatically, thanks to ELAN," Mohit Mahipal, managing director at USAM, said in the release. "Vinshek provided us with the best automation system for this application, and their project consultation really helped us to build the perfect system for the museum."
The museum also installed a RAKO lighting system with a dimming feature. The museum can use the dimming feature to direct a visitor’s attention from one artifact to the next, according to the release.
