IBASE's digital signage player wins 2020 Taiwan Excellence Award

IBASE Technology Inc. has won the 2020 Taiwan Excellence Award for its SW-101-N outdoor IP68-rated waterproof digital signage player, according to a press release. The Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs annually gives out awards to innovative products.

The SW-101-N has an operating temperature range of -40 to 167-degrees Fahrenheit and features auto power on/off scheduling and temperature/voltage control monitoring. The device also comes with multiple I/Os such as two USB 2.0, one Gigabit LAN, one RS232 and a C3 HDMI connector.

"We offer a wide range of quality digital signage players ideal for a huge variety of industries including retail, transportation, financial, hospitality, entertainment, education and many more," Archer Chien, director of solution product planning at IBASE, said in the release. "It's a big affirmation for IBASE to receive the sixth Taiwan Excellence Award over the past eight years. The awarded SW-101-N is designed for harsh external conditions by using IP68 standards to seal the system from water, dust, air and tough weather conditions and is perfect for outdoor environments."
