IBASE unveils low-power CPU module

IBASE Technology Inc. has unveiled its IBQ800 low-power CPU module, powered by an Intel Atom x7 E3950 2.0 GHz or x5 E3930 1.8 GHz processor.

The device can operate at temperatures ranging from -40 to 85-degrees Celsius for industrial environments, digital signage, ATMs, transportation, automation and more, according to a press release.

IBASE built the module with an Intel system-on-a-chip Gen9-LP graphics controller. Other features include:

  • Can be equipped with 8 or 4GB of LPDDR4 memory.
  • Comes with LVDS or eDP display interface.
  • Comes with three USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, HD audio, one COM and two SATA III.
  • Can be equipped with up to 32GB of eMMC 5.0 SSD storage on board.
