Ibase Technology announces motherboard with improved I/O options

Ibase Technology recently launched its MB995 motherboard based on the 8th Generation Intel Core processor family. The device supports additional I/Os and the C246 and Q370 chipsets, according to a press release.

The motherboard comes with four DDR4 sockets for up to 64 GB of system memory. It also features a M.2 to support NVMe drives with write speeds up to 3,500 MB per second. Ibase built the device for usage in kiosks, digital signage, medical imaging and gaming.

Other features include

  • Supports DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort.
  • Dual Intel GB LAN.
  • One PCI-E x16, one PCI-E x4, one Mini PCI-E, one PCI-E x 1 and two M.2.
  • Watchdog timer.
