IBASE rolls out panel PCs for smart retail

IBASE Technology USA has launched its UPC series Panel PCs for smart retail applications. The 21.5-inch devices feature a flat bezel design and an LCD with a projected capacitive touchscreen, according to a press release.

The series includes the UPC-7210 with 7th Gen Intel Core Professors and the UPC-6210, featuring an Intel Atom Processor E3825 or Intel Celeron Professor J1900. The UPC-7210 comes with four USB 3.0, two GB Ethernet, 24VDC input and 32GB of DDR4 support. The UPC-6210 has one USB 2.0, one GB Ethernet, 4GB DDR3L memory, two PCIe slots and runs on Windows 7, according to the release.

"Our visually-appealing UPC panel PCs are aimed to enhance customer experiences in retail and catering environments such as convenience stores, department stores, airports, cinemas and specialty stores," Wilson Lin, director of product planning department, IBASE, said in the release. "These high-performance and low-power systems are designed for long-term use and have no problem operating in ambient temperatures up to 50-degrees Celsius."
