IBASE launches module powered by AMD Ryzen SoC

IBASE Technology USA Inc.has announced its ET976 COM Express Compact Type 6 module, powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 system-on-a-chip for graphics intensive devices, according to a press release.

The modules are available with a variety of AMD Ryzen options including the V120B, V1605B and V1807B. The modules come with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a Gigabit Ethernet, a high definition audio controller and the Radeon Vega 3 graphics engine. Other features include:

  • Four USB 3.1 and eight USB 2.0.
  • Supports two independent displays through DisplayPort/DVI-D/LVDS or eDP through carrier board.
  • Supports TPM 2.0.

"The latest ET976 will benefit IBASE customers in the embedded computer markets, thanks to the AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 processors that enables ultra-compact and power-efficient solutions," Wilson Lin, director of product planning department, IBASE, said in the release. "The Ryzen lineup based on AMD’s new Zen micro-architecture delivers significantly increased computing and graphics performance to meet the growing needs of today’s embedded technologies."
