IBASE launches embedded system with NVIDIA GTX graphics card

IBASE Technology USA Inc. has launched its EC-7100 embedded computing system with the NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card. It also features NVIDIA's MXM GPU hardware accelerator and the 7th Generation Intel Core processor family, according to a press release.

The EC-1700 comes with 16GB of DDR4 system memory, one 128GB SATA-III SSD storage and four DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces. It also supports Ubuntu and Windows 10 and a maximum of three Gigabit Ethernet ports, according to the release.

"We have designed the EC-7100 to meet the demand for edge computing solutions with optimal performance and low latency to bring faster data processing and real time analytics for the user," Archer Chien, director of solution product planning department, IBASE, said in the release. "The system delivers high-throughput inference for computing vision applications such as image recognition, object detection, and image classification."
