Ibase intros video wall player for 6 HDMI displays

Ibase Technology USA recently launched its SI-626 video wall player, which can provide UHD multimedia playback across six HDMI displays. The device is based on 7th/6th Gen Intel Core mobile processors and comes with an AMD Radeon E8860 GPU, according to a press release.

The device measures 290 by 222 by 29.9-millimeters and features 16GB of DDR4 system memory, two GB of Ethernet and a 128 GB SSD storage. Users can mount the device directly without additional mounting brackets. Other features include:

• Observer remote monitoring tech.
• Build-in hardware EDID emulation.
• Two RS232 serial ports.
• 1 Mini PCI-E key for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.

"To produce an extreme performance digital signage player, the SI-626 combines the processing power of the Intel Core i7-6820EQ with the supreme graphics capabilities of the AMD Radeon E8860," Archer Chien, senior manager of solution product planning, IBASE, said in the release. "The SI-626 is very slim, less than 30mm in thickness, yet it provides stable performance because of the segregated ventilation that IBASE puts into the design to protect components from dust and built-in IBASE H/W EDID emulation with remote control functionality using an Ibase utility to prevent display issues due to cable disconnection or display identification failures."
