IBASE intros single board computer with 8th Gen Intel Core

IBASE Technology USA Inc. has unveiled its IB919 3.5-inc single board computer based on 8th Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron 4000 processors. The device features USB Type-C along with nine to 24V wide range DC input and optimized Thermal Design Power of 15W, according to a press release.

The IB919 comes in two series, the IB919AF, which features a Core i7 or i5 processor, and IB919EF, which features a Core i3 or Celeron processor. Both devices come with up to 32GB of DDR4-2400 memory in dual channel and dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet. Other features include:

• Can power up to three independent displays with two DisplayPort and EDP or 24-bit dual channel LVDS interface.
• Two Intel PCI-E GbE LAN.
• Watchdog timer.
• Two USB 2.0, four USB 3.1, one USB Type-C and two SATA III.
• Two M.2 sockets.

"We are pleased with Intel's long-term supply commitment for the Whiskey Lake-U platform, enabling us to back up the new IB919 SBC with a 15-year life cycle," Wilson Lin, director of IBASE's product planning department, said in the release. "The guaranteed availability ideally fits customer demands for their current and upcoming programs in smart retail, transportation, healthcare, and smart factory applications even in large field deployments."
