June 25, 2020

IBASE Technology Inc. has revealed its EC-3200 AI computing platform, based on the NVIDIA Jetson Tegra X2 processor. The device has an operating temperature of -4 to 140-degrees Fahrenheit and uses the Jetson processor to analyze traffic flow in real-time in smart cities or other locations, according to a press release.

"Current edge and cloud-based AI products require better computational and video analytics capability to perform demanding real-time data processing and overcome latency issues," Wilson Lin, director of product planning department, IBASE, said in the release. "The EC-3200 is no doubt a durable solution, especially built with a fanless design for non-stop operation and takes advantage of the GPU-accelerated parallel processing of NVIDIA Jetson TX2 to handle data intensive and mission-critical workloads with power efficiency and unmatched reliability."
