Hivestack, a programmatic DOOH technology company, has announced it is expanding its operations in Latin America. The company in particular is targeting Argentina, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Panama and Mexico, according to a press release.
Hivestack is aiming to take advantage of the expanding programmatic advertising market in Latin America. Although around 63% of all digital ad spends are done programmatically in the region, only 2% of DOOH ads are done so, which represents a growth opportunity, according to the release.
"While programmatic advertising is skyrocketing in LATAM, programmatic DOOH is just getting started. Today, only a small fraction of buys are bought using programmatic technology," Andreas Soupliotis, founder and CEO of Hivestack, said in the release. "Hivestack brings transformation by providing LATAM buyers with new capabilities such as a demand-side platform (DSP) that can bid on OOH impressions using familiar RTB methods, behavioral targeting capabilities derived from consumer movement data and attribution models that link business outcomes to programmatic DOOH advertising exposure."
As part of this expansion, Hivestack has also opened up an office in Guadalajara, Mexico.
