Grubbrr, a self-ordering kiosk technology company, has partnered with Samsung Electronics America Inc. for a new software solution that should see transactions run smoother for patrons and businesses in the fast casual and quick service marketplace.
With Grubbrr software, the Samsung Kiosk can handle a self-ordering transaction, equipped with a high-definition display, printer, credit card terminal, scanner, and NFC tap, according to a company press release. In addition to the self-ordering kiosk, Samsung customers can use menu boards, order progress boards, kitchen display systems and food lockers to aid their business.
The Samsung Kiosk features a large, high-definition screen, combined with Grubbrr's user interface. Customers no longer have to wait in line to order and the kiosk delivers efficient, reliable transactions, according to the release. Grubbrr worked with Samsung's Tizen platform operating system to meet the demands of the self-service industry.
"In fulfilling the global demand for an all-in-one smart kiosk, Grubbrr recognizes that the Samsung brand requires the most advanced software solutions," Sam Zietz, CEO of Grubbrr said in the release. "Samsung holds the majority market share in nearly all of the industries in which it operates, so partnering with Grubbrr will disrupt the entire self-ordering technologies industry. Using Grubbrr's software to power the Samsung kiosk will democratize the most advanced self-ordering solutions to power all businesses at an affordable price."
Leaders from both Grubbrr and Samsung believe the partnership is an ideal pairing.
"When we began our search for a software partner to help us enter into the self-ordering kiosk market, we knew that we needed a best in class team in terms of both support and software," Mark Quiroz, vice president, display division, Samsung Electronics America. "Grubbrr immediately caught our attention as the best turn-key self-ordering solutions provider, and our work with them has only exceeded these expectations. This kiosk will revolutionize the industry for all businesses."
Grubbrr, based in Boca Raton, Florida, has worked with quick-service and fast casual restaurants, stadiums, movie theatres, casinos, micro-markets, retail, and other businesses.
