'Glasses-free' 3D digital signage screens stopping in at 7,000 c-stores

Public Media Works and its subsidiary, EntertainmentXpress, have plans to place up to 7,000 DVD and game kiosks featuring 3D digital signage screens in new convenience stores via an agreement with Modular Conversions,according to MediaBuyerPlanner.com.
The kiosks will feature autostereoscopic ("no glasses required") 3D screens, and the partnership includes an out-of-home advertising model, inviting marketers to use the screens to reach consumers on-the-go, according to the report. C-store partners will share in ad revenue, as well as in DVD rental and sales revenue, according to the companies.
