Gas Station TV, a video network, has announced a joint venture with Verifone to combine Verifone's Pump Media division with GSTV. The joint venture will serve more than 18,000 locations across the U.S. with digital signage at the pump, according to a press release.
This joint venture will reach an audience of 75 million unique visitors monthly, according to the release. GSTV integrates news, entertainment and advertising from sources that include CNN Headline News, Buzz Today and Fusion Now, and broadcasts its feed at the pump point-of-sale.
"We celebrate a milestone today as we formally join two leading media organizations in a powerful partnership," Joe Mach, president of Verifone North America, said in the release "Under the GSTV umbrella and with Verifone’s influential backing, we will draw on our collective partnerships and experiences to strategically accelerate growth, push the boundaries of technology, and deliver the proven effectiveness of video at the pump."
