Galaxy Next Generation intros visual alert system for schools

Galaxy Next Generation Inc., an interactive learning solutions provider, has introduced G2 Visual Alerts for schools. This solution sends text and images to any device in a school district, including PCs and interactive flat panels, according to a press release.

G2 is compatible with Android, Mac OS, Windows and Chrome and can send messages to a group of devices or the entire network. In the future, the company plans to add digital signage capabilities to the platform as well.

"The human brain processes images up to 60,000 times faster than spoken words," Gary LeCroy, CEO of Galaxy, said in the release. "G2 Visual Alerts is a first-to-market solution for quick, simple and timely communications, whether that be for an emergency or a general announcement."
