Freebirds World Burrito will open its newest location on Nov. 12 in Lewisville, Texas, in the area known as The Colony at 6225 N. Josey Lane. The new restaurant will feature design updates that will be incorporated in all future Freebirds locations, according to a company press release. The unveiling signifies an important milestone for Freebirds, which will incorporate this new look in all future restaurant openings.
"Guests will still be able to customize their made-to-order Mexican-inspired meals — that will never change. We felt it was the right time to refresh our design with new technology and an updated look, while our passion for people and food remains the same," said Bobby Shaw, CEO of Freebirds.
Freebirds’ updated design pairs modern industrial style with a farmhouse aesthetic, by incorporating materials such as reclaimed wood, exposed brick and cold rolled steel, the release said. There will be also be a new open-kitchen design, allowing guests to see their food being prepared.
Freebirds has also installed new digital menu boards. The Freebirds staff will have the ability to complete guests’ credit-card payment while they are standing in line via digital tablets. The redesigned space will also feature an updated playlist playing on a premium sound system.
Freebirds is owned and operated by Tavistock Group and has more than 100 locations in seven western states.
