Enplug integrates digital signage platform with Alertus mass notification system

Enplug, a cloud-based digital signage software provider, has integrated Alertus Techology's Mass Notification System into its digital signage platform.

With this integration, Enplug users can quickly send out critical safety information during emergencies, according to a press release.

In order to use the system, Alertus users activate the Emergency Alert App in the Enplug dashboard and then copy the URL. They then log onto their Alertus account and use the URL to configure an Alert Profile. During an emergency, Alertus notifications can go across the entire digital signage system.

"Digital displays are increasingly common in a variety of corporate, academic and government settings, making digital signage one of the most effective ways to alert people and keep them safe as dangerous situations unfold," Amanda Sassano, director of commercial sales at Alertus, said in the release. "Opening up our emergency notification system to users on the Enplug platform extends our reach into an important segment of the digital signage market, and gives those users an easy way to keep viewers safe when disaster strikes."
