E Display launches digital signage Android stick

E Display Inc. has launched the Signage Droid Z5, a plug-and-play digital signage media player for Android. The tool is powered by a Cortex-A17 Quad Core processor, according to a press release.

The stick is designed with a number of features, including:

• 2GB RAM and 16GB storage;
• Built-in heat sink and battery;
• Comes with Bluetooth 4.0; and
• Runs on E Display's cloud based software Signage Studio.

Users can update content remotely using the company's software. The Signage Studio software comes with 30 apps such as Facebook, Twitter, RSS Feed and Google Calendar, according to the release.

Users who purchase the Signage Droid Z5 will receive a one-year subscription to The Signage Studio.
