DPAA adds new weather, golf, amusement park and banking members

The Digital Place-based Advertising Association announced today that AccuWeather Inc.; Cedar Fair amusement park; golf course digital signage company Digital Caddies; and investment banking firm Peter J. Solomon Company have joined the association.

"We have had a strong increase in membership this year with the digital place-based advertising sector continuing to heat up and planning well under way for our seventh annual Video Everywhere Summit in November," DPAA President and CEO Barry Frey said in the announcement. "We look forward to providing our newest members ... the broad range of services and support that come with belonging to the  DPAA."

Membership in DPAA included access to its database of research, best practices and case studies; tools for planning, training and forecasting; social media amplification; publication discounts; an opportunity to participate in media partnerships as well as the DPAA-Nielsen Service Bureau and DPAA-Nielsen Digital Diploma Series Training programs; insights on software and hardware solutions; and further integration into the advertising ecosystem as part of the video everywhere conversation and marketing campaign, the announcement said.

Members also receive discount registration to DPAA's annual Video Everywhere Summit. This year's event will be held Nov. 4 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City.
