Discover Video upgrades education video platform with digital signage

Discover Today has upgraded its Devos education video communications platform with the SignStick-2 media player for digital signage. The company has also added multi-view capture, live streaming and other features, according to a press release.

Schools can use the media player to display live or recorded content on HD monitors. They can also offer information or emergency messaging. Schools can also use IPTV to display TV programs on displays, or they can live stream content.

"DEVOS includes innovative capabilities that will appeal to all K12 schools, colleges, and universities," Rich Mavrogeanes, CEO, Discover Video, said in the release. "DEVOS is a comprehensive video communications platform, used by thousands of people worldwide, that provides organizations the best value in the industry."

The Devos system also enables schools to stream and record multiple HD cameras and presentations automatically, according to the release.
