FirstBank and Mood Media are taking the USA Pro Challenge, one of the biggest bicycle races in the U.S., to the streets of Denver — riding on the bank's digital signage handlebars.
To amplify its affiliation as a corporate sponsor, FirstBank is broadcasting a live feed of the Colorado-based race on its 21-screen video wall, already in place at its Union Station flagship store in Denver, according to an announcement from Mood Media.
Mood has replaced the branch's standard content feed of videos, graphics, news, weather and RSS feeds with event specific content, engaging FirstBank customers and passing pedestrians in the Pro Challenge experience. The video content is delivered using the MVision 425 player, a device built specifically for retail multimedia content needs, according to the announcement.
"As a proud corporate sponsor of the popular USA Pro Challenge, FirstBank chose to do something on a greater scale this year. With a relationship dating back more than 10 years, we turned to Mood in order to implement our vision within the needed timeline," said Brian Jensen, senior vice president of marketing for FirstBank, in the announcement. "We are pleased to share the race with the downtown Denver community."
