Higher education institutions are taking digital signage far beyond simple on-campus wayfinding and announcements, using large-scale video walls to create high-tech educational and entertainment experiences for students. Digital Signage Today and digital signage mounting and hardware specialists Peerless-AV are hosting a free, hourlong webinar, "Creating a State-of-the-Art Video Wall: A case study from UC Riverside," that will explore the challenges, opportunities and rewarding results of a large-scale video wall installation at the University of California Riverside in the school's new student center.
The live event will be held at 2 p.m. Eastern on July 14.
Participants will hear from digital signage and AV solutions providers and mounting and installation experts about the process and key learnings from a large-scale video wall deployment that will help them in their future digital signage and video wall deployments.
Speakers will include Brian McClimans, vice president of global business development for Peerless-AV; Brian Rhatigan, director of business development for Almo Professional A/V; James Gulke, director of operations for High-Tech Electric; and Christopher Hall, senior editor of Digital Signage Today.
