An Indiana-based company that makes digital signage newspaper racks says its racks featuring real-time updated screens with local news and advertising are showing significant sales uplifts, according to NetNewsCheck.
Goshen, Indiana-based RedPost reports that early trials in 11 locations in South Bend, Indiana, including nine gas stations, a coffee shop and South Bend’s airport, have seen average newspaper sales go up 3 percent to 4 percent weekly, with a 22 percent increase in Sunday sales year over year.
The company also is looking into how to expand its digital out-of-home advertising content on the rack screens, according to the article.
