The Digital Signage Federation has launched the DSF Careers Center, constituting phase 1 of its career and job resource center, with additional features like resume management planned for the next development phase, according to a press release.

"This posting service is free to members," Brian Gorg, executive director at the DSF, explained in an email to media partners. "In a survey of members this was noted as a specific need they have as developing and retaining human resources is a primary concern for end users, consultants, integrators and manufacturers. Our goal is to get a critical mass of announcements to make this a go-to location for job seekers and recruiters. The second part of the plan is to allow people to post and manage resumes but that is forthcoming."

"The DSF has long prided itself as an organization where members can meet, mingle, network and share best practices," Frank Pisano, CEO at Bluefin and chairman of the Membership Committee at the DSF, said in the release. "As a CEO I'm always on the lookout for the top talent our industry has to offer, and this job center is going to benefit both the job seekers as well as the employers looking to hire."

"There's never been a one-stop service for digital signage professionals looking to pursue new career opportunities," Len Dudis, CIO at Grupo Vidanta and board chairman at the DSF, said in the release. "We feel this initiative will be critical in helping [with] attracting new talent, retaining digital signage professionals with experience and growing the overall industry."
