Interactive retail display technology firm InMotion recently partnered with clothing brand Kenneth Cole to create an interactive retail experience in the Bowery neighborhood of New York City, which was unveiled during Fashion Week, according to an announcement from InMotion.
According to the announcement, the concept store merges the digital and the physical to create a new shopping experience for customers through "an emotionally resonant brand story."
"Shopping is transformed into memories through engaging features and content, propelled by advanced 3D, motion, touchscreen, projection and tracking technology," the release stated. "As a result, customers spend more time in the store, have multiple ways to interact and are more engaged with both the brand and the merchandise."
Kenneth Cole products, paired with InMotion technology, will be exhibited on both the ground floor and the basement. According to the company, Cole himself noted that this "immersive digital experience" would be the new model for his brand and his business.
InMotion said its next major installation will be at Macy's in New York City's Herald Square.
