Digital signage company partners with GE subsidiary

Digital signage company truDigital has partnered with Current, powered by GE, to bring its digital signage solutions to other businesses, according to a press release.

This partnership is part of Current's strategy to create "intelligent environments across industries." Current will integrate GE's industrial internet platform Predix with truDigital's sensors and software to enable customers to save energy while using digital signage.

"In our mission to help businesses harness the Industrial Internet to become more efficient and productive, we need to work with application partners who are experts in their respective fields," said Robin Baker, head of the ISV Alliance and director of Partner CoE. "Every aspect of our world is becoming digitized, including signage, and truDigital will help our customers improve communications and optimize their space."
