Digital merchandising meets financial digital signage at bank branch

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Captive Indoor Media announced that CoastHills FCU, based in Lompoc, Calif., has completed installation of its digital merchandising software, called Codigo, in seven branch locations. The system displays content on screens at the drive-thru, adjacent to teller stations and on portrait-oriented screens in the lobby to show rate board information. The Captive installation replaces a legacy application from InLighten Inc.
"We had heard about Captive from other credit union marketers that had either switched from another system to Captive or installed the Codigo application after reviewing several options," said Scott Coe, senior vice president of marketing for CoastHills FCU. "They reported a very positive experience."
The CoastHills FCU installations use several display technologies. The system sends content to multiple landscape-oriented 42-inch LCD panels and integrates existing Remote Teller System screens from Diebold both inside and outside of the branch. The Remote Teller System allows tellers to speak to a customer remotely via a two-way camera system. When the teller is not interacting via camera with a customer, marketing content is displayed on the monitors via the Captive system.
"It is great to see a customer make use of several different display technologies to capitalize on the unique, one-to-one marketing opportunity each area of the branch offers," said Brian Nutt, founder and chief executive of Captive Indoor Media.
