D&H Distributing creates initiative for digital signage, Pro A/V

D&H Distributing, a consumer technologies provider, has launched an initiative focusing on digital signage and Pro-A/V. The company will help value added resellers handle large format digital signage, video walls, videoconferencing solutions and more, according to a press release.

D&H Distributing plans to provide a team of digital signage and collaboration experts to support value added resellers with content management and other tasks.

"Hospital facilities are using signage and display systems to update families waiting for patients in surgery. Sales teams use them to post performance metrics. Executives use them to collaborate with remote colleagues. As this medium becomes more ubiquitous, the opportunity for resellers with expertise in these systems will generate notable profitability," Peter DiMarco, vice president of VAR sales, D&H, said in the release. "D&H can deliver that expertise on the reseller's behalf, working with them to configure end-to-end signage, collaboration or videoconferencing systems, and helping them to manage content for these deployments long-term."
