Curb Taxi Media, a taxi advertiser, has launched a network of programmatic smart taxi tops in New York City. Advertisers can deliver DOOH campaigns on displays attached to the tops of taxis through the Vistar platform, according to a press release.
Curb Taxi will enable more than 1,100 LCD displays on Vistar, which will offer street-level geotargeting, RSS data integration, dayparting and live weather triggers.
"Connecting with on-the-go consumers is a critical part of the marketing funnel," Chris Polos, head of Curb Taxi Media, said in the release. "By enabling brands to tap into the benefits of programmatic digital taxi top advertising, we're providing a unique medium to reach consumers with eye-level messaging and a coverage area far greater than what's possible with traditional OOH."
Customers will be able to make programmatic buys on the Vistar platform, including open exchange and private marketplace deals, according to the release.
