Convergent, a Ballantyne Strong company, has launched its FusionDX(SM) Ad Network for Pervasive TV, a DOOH network company. Pervasive plans to use the network to distribute its content to more than 2,000 screens and 1 million hotel rooms in the U.S. with its ReachMeTV Entertainment Network, according to a press release.
FusionDX is designed to automate digital signage workflow such as content creation, storage, management, monitoring and more. Lynnwood Bibbens, CEO of Pervasive TV, claims that FusionDX allows companies to cover the cost of a signage network as an operating expense that is connected to ROI goals rather than a capital expense.
"Convergent is the one company that decided to really invest in a single platform to deliver a full-service solution," Bibbens said. "We're creating a new entertainment category, and we wanted a partner that believes in our vision. We would have had to build the network ourselves if we hadn't found Convergent."
The ReachMeTV network is designed to offer entertaining content to users first and advertising second, according to the release.
"Pervasive TV has done a great job developing, securing and programming compelling content that engages viewers. The value they place on content and their overall business strategy is completely aligned with ours," Steve Schilling, president of Convergent, said in the release. "We're very excited to be working with Lynnwood and his team to help the company achieve its objectives."
