Contentful selects SVP of customer experience

Contentful, a content management systems provider, has hired Laurence Trifon to serve as senior vice president of customer experience. In addition to this appointment, Contentful also recently raised $80 million in a round of funding to expand its professional services, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Contentful, Trifon served as VP of emerging businesses at Twilio, according to the release.

"We're excited to welcome Laurence to Contentful to help drive our next phase of our growth," Steve Sloan, CEO of Contentful, said in the release "Laurence's experience and leadership will help us better partner with customers to ensure they get the most value from our platform."
